The cost of travel is the issue
Our club costs more than most other clubs in the Portland area but we only went on one out of Portland tournament from tryouts to present. Last year we were involved with a team that had out of Oregon travel costs in excess of $4k per year. Club fees or State Cup fees are not the true cost of Classic soccer.
