Yes, don't listen to any of these chumps. First of all, soccer is a fun sport and all kids should have access to it. Whether you are on the A team or the C team it is still teaching valuable life lessons... comeraderie, leadership, how to deal with adversity, relationship, on and on.

The odds of any of these kids, A, B, C... making to college soccer or beyond... it is so small. So really, in the end, what you hope is that they enjoyed it, and learned some valuable life lessons.

Club C teams exist just so a Mommy and Daddy can brag to their besties that their kid didnt get cut, and now have a pretty kit to wear. That and its an obvious revenue source to clubs, simple business model really.

Foothills and Hillside rec programs are doing just that in some of the younger ages. Maybe U10, U11, and U12. I think it is a lower cost option for parents who what to keep their kids active.

Even worse D teams. OSSA has no problem with it. It keeps a steady flow of revenue for the top tier.

I am not a parent on their team but Onyx A team is the best C team around. We (I mean they) also have the smartest parents. I mean I am smart. I am. I mean they are.
