Is it special treatment to not have your team given to Victor?

If Garen didn't "take his ball and go home" there wouldn't be this situation. I'm sure the club could have handled it better but Garen's true colors came through. Garen should do well at FCSC - they're made for each other. Just ask Dan. Both good coaches that are in it for all the wrong reasons .... themselves.

Sure looks like FCSC is growing at the expense of WT-FC. Won't be long before the real girls premier club in Vancouver isn't Timbers, if that isn't already the case.

Most problems at WashT can be traced back to bad decisions by SD.

These 'problems' are happening everywhere. Coaches with egos. Parents with egos. Advanced competition. Kids get feelings hurt. Parents think their kid is better than they are. Some of these coaches, and they are everywhere, think they are Gods gift to the world. It's everywhere and not just soccer. Whatever. Kids change some teams and we move on. In the end, it matters very little.

If there was ever a coach in the history of the freakin universe that is in it completely for them self, it is Victor. After the first game he coaches, you sucker parents will be buying earplugs and wishing you had Garen back. Garen is a tough coach but he won a title. Maybe your baby boy couldn't handle it.

There is always the B team when you get tired of Victor.

You ASSumed "little princess" played for him. You know what they say when you ASSume. Parent group is something for sure, but why should that affect coaching??

Parents in the coaches ear ... parents "coaching" their kids from the minute they leave the house to the minute they get home. Parents coaching from the sidelines .... all undoing what the coach is trying to do. Cuz parents know best. Sound familiar? It should

I get what your saying. But all your examples only illustrate a weak coach because they allow it and never set boundaries early on. I've played for and my kids play(ed) for coaches that set out parental expectations from the get go. If a coach allows the things you mentioned then he/she is simply weak. It generally happens at the younger ages and the parents who are never kept in check are usually in for a rude awakening at the high school and if they're lucky--at the college level because coaches at that level simply don't tolerate it.

Trust me, i cannot stand overbearing, know it all parents.

Garen only private trains the best players and coaches the best teams..... Because he doesn't like to lose and his head is so massive
