Not a TA member. My kid plays for the "other" program in Vancouver. Not really a WaT fan myself but I have to wonder where your angst is coming from. Seems very personal. We are talking about a children's sport. You fight like this is about you. When you need to make a remark like this you need to look in the mirror tonight and ask yourself if you really get it. The winning, the losing, the development, the smiles and the cries are all your kids to own. Not yours. If you have this much negativity built up to spit toward someone you don't even know then you have a problem. If you are the mother of a child then I simply smh wondering how the disconnect between these things happened. If you are a father, make yourself known so you can receive the ***** kicking you deserve.

Less of a mutiny and more of a case of a coach backing out 2 days before tryouts and leaving the A team completely screwed. If you would have asked how many were returning before the coach backed out the number would be in the double digits.

But you can put together whatever story you would like.

If you honestly think Studs doesn't coach bootball, just ask any parent or opponent of the G01 team he just left. Send her!!!

Maybe that's also why he left and so has a great deal of that team. They played boot-ball, no questions asked and they were clearly and outwordly coached to play that way. I guess development can be judged in multiple ways, just depends on what you are being developed to do.

If you're the parent I'm thinking about ... a DD on the G99 Reds and the G01 then I'm certain you have no clue about soccer. You're the one yelling at your daughter to "send it"! LOL. Then to accuse the coach of teaching the kids to bootball what a hypocrite! Fire up another doobie and just relax dude! ;)
I've watched SS's G97 team and they are a possession based team. Maybe the '01's just gravitate to that style because the knucklehead parents are constantly coaching them?

And why did the coach back out? Answer that question and you'll be a lot closer to identifying the root cause(s) of the problems at W_T_F_C. Eliminate the root cause(s) and you'll stop the bleeding. It'll take more than that to start rebuilding but at least you'll have a fighting chance.
