Yes people attack them all year, but isn't it amazing how all of a sudden on tryouts day for this club people come on here and post all sorts of stuff that hasn't been talked about for weeks, along with the stuff above. If you have been around long enough you will know it happens every single year at this time.

Players come and players goes, coaches come and coaches go. trying to attack an entire club for a few age groups is just silly. It happens at every big club.

Keep drinking the kool aid. You notice that the lengthy post questioning what's going on is from someone WITHIN the club? They finally woke up. It seems you haven't, unless you are part of the establishment trying to convince people that all is well.

Unfortunately your plea fails to recognize that this is a top to down failure. They are reaping all the BS they have sown for the last two years or so. The DoC's, as well as a handful of toxic parents have done a stand up job of creating the conditions that is chasing away the local talent. This exodus isn't new. But hey, someday all your Rec teams will enjoy your turf fields... Someday.

duh....when you have 75 teams there will be problems....I promise with 4000 players in Washington Timbers that 400 have an issues. Same goes for your 1500 player club....150 have issues...it's all relative

Certain "familiar" DoCs hiring friends as coaches, because they aren't any good at developing a real, professional coaching staff. Hiring the mercenary coach for the u15 reds is a real stretch and should be a red flag that things are going very, very poorly there.

Top players from G02 Reds team that won OPL fall and were NWCL finalists had SIX players return? Top 3 moved across the river?

More top players from G01 Reds team moving across the river, decimating this team.

G00 Reds lose their coaches to Salmon Creek at the last minute and a bunch of players are going with them.

G99 Reds imploding due to displeasure with assigned coach and as best players get ready to move to ECNL this summer.

BU16 Reds getting VG as a coach!

G00 Green (B) is now th A team. Almost entire G00 Reds left the club for FCSC, FCP, ET. And their Forest (C) team left also, promoting their D team up to be the new B team.

G99 Reds have already lost 1 starter to FCP ECNL. Several more to go at U15 ECNL tryouts this summer.

G98 Reds have never been competitive at the top level. All of the best players in Clark county are at FCSC.

G96 Reds imploded last summer and it's too late for that age group to recover.

Basically, on the girls side, WT_FC now has the second best "A" teams in Clark county from G98 through G03. Keep up the good work!

Why pay almost the same as ECNL to be coached bootball by "Studs", play in OYSA and go to a couple of lower-end showcase tournaments? The smart money is on half a dozen of these girls moving to ECNL this summer.

First you obviously have an issue with "Studs". He is a great coach and does not coach bootball as you claim. Your comment leads me to believe you know very little about soccer and just have a bone to pick.

The tier 1 aspect is really only 3 practices a week and the extra $ is just the upcharge for all turf training and games. The extra cost is just built into the club fees rather then ad hoc. In reality doing it this way will save the parents money compared to the ad hoc system that other Wa Timbers deal with.

Where would you suggest they play? OYSA and OPL are virtually the same. They have the same league options as all non-ECNL teams. Same goes for Showcase tournaments - same options as all OYSA-OPL teams. Actually the G99 Reds have an option that no other teams have down here. They can play in the RCL if they choose. Not sure if they are going to exercise that option or not?

As far as ECNL goes it doesn't appear that the G99 Reds are any different then any other non-ECNL team in that the players / parents look like they're just letting the dust settle to what appears as utter chaos in the Portland ECNL world.

A little advice, since you're so unhappy, just take your DD to one of the Portland ECNL teams since you seem to be convinced it's so much better. We will all be happier.

Why? So they can play on an inferior team? Makes more sense for them to stay together as a team. Why move over just so that they can help make the ECNL teams reasonably legitamate. I'm sure FC and CU girls would be thrilled to have WT girls move over as it would give them a chance to be decent.

Hey Jealous guy- We can all see through your hatred of this club. This blog has already exstablished that the Timbers Reds play possession style ball. My DD's team has played "Studs" teams before. They are particularily possession oriented. As the ***C dues are among the lowest in the metro area, I'll bet your DD pays more to be coached by someone less.

The changes in the coaching at many of the teams is a sign that something is terribly wrong.

U15B got rid of a coach that just won state cup!! They replaced him with the most hated ex-coach/ex-DOC in the county. ***?

U15G were bleeding girls so they brought in Studley. Why were the girls leaving? Does this mean FCSC seriously is going to come back from the dead? Come on, man!

With TWO DOCs and a GM, WaTimbers are still misfiring.
