As said, Harmony's no different than any other grass field that's played on with any regularity.

My biggest bitch is the parking lot. Hell, the minute your suspension bottoms out from turning into the facility from the north you know you're in for an obstacle course.

Sue? Really? Person could very well be joking but in today's world would it surprise you? I'm more apt into sending a bill for front end alignment. Some cities have a "reimbursement from pothole damage" wrote in their annual budgets'.

No one mentions the nightmare it is to leave that place. It'd be nice if there was at least a center island so those that want to leave & go north are able at least get out on the road. The whole exit/entrance design leaves much to be desired.
Oh my word, yes a warning about the parking lot would have been fantastic.

Or the yellow jackets, that was fun too, to see the kids doing a little dance instead of playing soccer, and the refs more worried about the bees than the game. Awesome facility you got going on there ***C

I have virtually no air passage in my sinuses. I really ought to look at the rooter service. Breathing through your mouth while sleeping does give you bad breath. I have heard good things. Are people really using mouth breather as an insult?

You know you have a gigantic whiner when they start complaining about being chased by a yellow jacket. My kid got stung by a yellow jacket on an Oregon field last weekend. The difference is he simply yelped and continued playing. I'm certainly not going to point fingers at the club for an act of nature. Some people just like to *itch and moan. Cry me a river.

I agree....we did not play ***C this weekend so I can't attest for this past weekend....their parking lot, exiting parking lot and fields definetly need some attention I'm sure of it...I'm very happy to hear about the turf they purchased....any club that tries to better themselves for their membership should be praised....I'm afraid that the ones that are on here bashing are simply jealous at the fact that ***C is on to something good....and in fact if they succeed they will be miles ahead of all of us

Even after ***C turfs 3 fields, adds lights and cleans up the parking lot, you will have whiners coming on her saying that Harmony sucks because they hear shots from a nearby firing range and they were chased by a killer yellow jacket.

That will be a new generation of whiners. All of us will be long gone by the time *** makes all of that happen...

It will be poetic justice when this gets done within the next 10 months (probably sooner). I will just leave it at that. And given all the a holes who come on here and make snarky comments like yourself, you should be more than willing to accept all the trash talk that will be thrown at you upon completion of these fields. Until then....

More fields are good for everyone, TA or not. Hope it gets done.

The only way this gets done in the next 10 months is if they lay the new turf down right on top of the old grass and then park a bunch of old cars around the perimeter to light it up with their headlights. Won't be as muddy but it'll be just as bumpy and dark. And won't last more than a year. But at least *** will be able to say that they finally did it!

Remember, 6 months and counting to get a simple permit to park an office trailer at Harmony... These guys aren't the most astute planners and developers.

Your "done deal" window of certainty is "10 months, probably sooner"? Well, that sounds like a hard plan there Jethro. Your confidence not withstanding, I will plug that into my calendar and send you a note when? Next month? December? How about January, February, or March? Maybe April, May, June, July, or August of next year? This note is to congratulate your well -planned efforts of course. Which will work for you?

Permits are already done....waiting on final financing package....a week or two away.

Permit for office last second is normal....you've got to understand there are a bunch of U of O grads working for the city and county building....since there are not ally of permits pulled right now in this slow economy those hairy armed ladies down there take their time processing permits....I mean, if they processed permit like they could they would constantly be running out of work

Yep. I picked out the car, a new one at the dealership. Made room for it in my garage. Told all my friends I am buying it. The sales guy at the car dealer thinks I am buying it. The kids like it. Only one teeny tiny thing... I just need to get the money to pay for it....other than that....it's a done deal.
