Washington Timbers

New parent here, so forgive me if this has been asked already. Why are they called Washington Timbers? I get the Timbers part but from what I can see they are South Side and therefore I am confused about the Washington part of it. Is it related to Washington County???

Nope. You need to understand its referred to as VANTUCKY. Their fields, Harmony Soccer Complex, is one of the finest sets of grass pitches in all the NW. Truely hard to describe. Pastoral. Peaceful. Well maintained. Not at all like some of those places where you might hear cows mooing or gunshots from nearby firing ranges, no sir, its overall appearance is second to none.

Stop complaining about harmony. Just because you lose against vancouver it must be the field. The parking lot messed up your future professionals kick and that why they lost. I've seen fields all over Oregon and there are many great fields as well as some worst then harmony.

Come on, really? Name one soccer complex that is in worse condition than Harmony? I'm not talking Parks & Rec or school yard fields, but soccer-specific complexes? I've been to a lot of them around the metro area and I've never seen field conditions (not to mention the parking lot) as bad as they are at Harmony every fall. Hope ***C can get someone to loan them the money to actually install the turf they've purchased. But, of course, after 6 months of trying, they still haven't figured out how to get a permit to place an office trailer at Harmony so don't hold your breath that they'll have the turf down any time soon...
