Portland Indoor / Futsal Access?

Portland metro has poor access to "good" indoor soccer venues in the Winter. Either it's too costly, it's played on lousy, poorly-managed indoor "carpet" hockey courts, or the locations are outside city limits. What about small public covered outdoor futsal courts throughout the city? Have you seen how UNUSED public tennis courts are nearly year round, and always in the Winter?

Question: Does anyone have GOOD indoor futsal venue options or ideas? Help!

Public Options

Very few public open space options for Futsal in the City of Portland.

Very expensive at Portland Futsal and Rose City Futsal as they only offer Futsal to clients and have invested millions in the property and land, as a private business venture.

I did hear about a hacienda project with a futsal court for the public somewhere in NE PDX.

Adult futsal is not played very much in the PDX metro area less than 100 teams are playing FUTSAL with well over 600 Adult teams electing to play traditional Indoor Soccer with Walls game and a rink.

Bottom line Futsal isn't that popular with Adults yet.

The youth on the other had play futsal in the Winter Months mainly in the Suburbs of portland at Tualatin Indoor and most recently at Oregon Premier Futsal in Clackamas and the inner Portland youth have chosen Portland Futsal in SE.

Right now Indoor Soccer is far more popular game for American Adults than the Futsal game. Maybe in time this will change.
