    2013 Fall OPL Brackets

So looks like OPL brackets are out for Fall '13 but look how they are presented:
    ex.
    GU13 National Premier League
    GU13 Premier Division
    GU13 First Division
    GU13 Second Division
    GU13 Third Division

Looks like they have two Premier divisions this season bumping everybody up vs. having a Forth Division.

NPL was last years Premier and Premier was last years Division 1 but was narrowed to 8 teams making promotion and relegation to NPL and Premier easier is what we were told.

that actually makes some sense. it's essentially what the RCL has been doing for years. and it works. follow a consistent promotion/relegation, and by the book. then no one can complain. oh who am i kidding. we'll still complain.

Or it's just a way to let 16 teams say they are premier. Doesn't really matter look at the rcl, they just go d1,d2,d3 etc. maybe it's for those that need the ego stroke

Don't you remember, this will really be OYSA Timbers in the Spring and going forward.

OPL is effectively dead after this season.

See where that takes this. hahahaha

The irony is that OYSA was not organized enough to begin in the Fall. Go Timbers Go!

OPL got it's wish to get Chuck remove. He is gone, but the Timbers are stepping in to run winter league.

Read OYSA board meeting minutes. http://www.oregonyouthsoccer.org/about/oysa.aspx

Interesting to see what happens. hahahaha

Nice change to have an organization that publicly shares their minutes, as well as is run by a representative board rather than a few elites. It may make decision making a little slower, but at least there is more even representation.
