Yes, Sunset over Westview in OT. My opinion, if Sunset could have finished it could have been 5. Oh we'll, it only takes one. Hats off to Westview, they made a great run and should hold their heads high.

The coach is that bad he has no business coaching at that level! He hired two assistant that know more than him and he can barely teach the game! If you listen close enough it's the two assistants that do all of the coaching from the side lines. It was his two assistants that got yellows tonight not the head he wouldn't know what to say to a ref!

Not sure but ref had conversations all night with tualatin coaches and watching the head run around and try and calm down the real coaches was funny.

Its a perfect hate fest final. THUSC VS SOUTHSIDE High School Final. All the angst from all the last years U14 posts come to roost . How perfect is this???? This is awesome ! I wish I could be in the stands to watch not the game but the parents go out of control. Gonna be a classic. OPL CLASSIC !!!!!!!

Don't know about anyone else out there, but the setting at Sunset was pretty special. Stands was packed and along the sidelines. Sunset student body rushes out to the field and greeted the players and joined in the celebration. Pretty cool.

Not sure what you're talking about. There's never been a THUSC/SSC rivalry at the current U15 age group.

And the U15s are freshmen. I'm pretty sure the older age groups will play a much bigger role in the game. Must have been posted by a freshman parent. Don't they know that freshmen, and their parents, are supposed to be seen and not heard?

Agreed! Should be a good game. I didn't think Sunset looked very good vs Westview. Lots of balls in the air and clearing out of the back. Neither team really ever had possession. I didn't see the Tualatin game but hopefully both teams try to play pretty soccer in the final.

True. Sunset looked much better when they beat Grant and Westview looked a little better when they beat Tigard. Only saw Tualatin play once and that was when they opened against Jesuit. Apparently they have gotten better because the team I saw that night couldn't have beat any Metro team.
