Didn't realize that Jim Tursi, owner of Tursi's is the head women's coach there.

Maybe other's are annoyed by these posts to the women's teams, but I'm glad someone is doing them. Wish one of the admins would take a single thread, title it college links, and put all of these underneath it and permalink it to the top. I will book mark the links in my browser, but I find this easier to use.

Just do a Google Search on "portland colleges". This will provide you the Portland Colleges.

I posted them all. We focus so much on the D1 school, that we overlook all the other great schools around here with good programs.

Very few kids make it to D1. Most end that want to keep playing and get a education stay local.

There are a lot of good local programs. Schools that do well at their respective level. Concordia seems to go to the playoffs every year, but since they are NAIA no one talks about them, just about U of P.

Linfield has had some success as well. And yes, there should be one college thread on here, it would be fun to chat that up.
