    Pleasanton Rage Showcase

I see 98 stealth is way out matched in this tournament and wasting money. Losing their 1st game to Pleasanton Rage ECNL. They are the second worse team in the NW ECNL league. Only had 2 wins, 13 losses, only scored 9 goals the entire season and had a goal diff of a whopping -33. How do you lose to a team like this. There 2nd game is going to be even better with Santa Rosa ECNL, last place NW ECNL league play with 2 wins, 13 losses, 11 goals scored and get this a whopping -51 goal diff. I know as a scout these are the games I want to spend my time at. You guys should have just stayed up in the or/wa market and played a tourney. You even have pick up players.

97 Vanc. Timbers hanging back at 2nd level. Why don't they take on top teams instead of playing with the weaker teams, lucked out though, no ECNL teams to contend with they are 1st level. They won their first game 5-0.

    Anyone else down there?

I would expect nothing less of VT.

Wrong they played San Juan ECNL and lost. But they were 3rd to last in the NW league with a 3 and 11 record, and only a -40 goal diff. And the ECNL team is most likely using prospects and Subs that didnt get much play time in league or showcases to prepare for next year.

98's ...It was San Juan not Pleasanton.... It was Pride not Stealth and the score was 3-2, hardly a blow out. If you are going to bad mouth you should get your facts straight

...on a team that his kid is not on?? (and gets most of it wrong in the process) No wonder it looked like the Stealth 'pick(ed) up players', as it is actually the Pride who is down there. Best of luck to them!

97 timbers do not qualify for top tier just yet....they do not have the resume yet to play in the top tier of showcase tourneys.....the funny thing is that they are a top team in the NW but considered mediocre down south...what does that tell you Oregon?

It nice to see coaches that really know there team and are not out to waste team money or time. To go along with that parents on this team sound like they get it good to see

Winning 4 and 5-0 in Vegas and now California seems like a waste of money to me. Why not stay home and play against the top WA and OR teams for better competition and less money? There are easily 3-5 teams in WA that are better than the VT 97s and at least 2-3 teams in Oregon that are equal, if not better. If you're going to go further than Oregon, quit playing in the 2nd and 3rd divisions of mediocre tournaments.

Valid point if the teams you are playing are the same rostered teams you played during winter

Top tier in NW? What are you smoking? Please tell us what they have won to consider them top tier? Did they win league? No. Have they won any local touney? Have they won any tourney? They are in the weaker division because they deserve it and show no signs of getting stronger.
