This is talking soccer, not Portland Timbers Development Academy. They have a website, hopefully you can at least find that, since you made it here.
Why wouldnt you first make a phone call to Erik or Mike and ask them directly ? Oh, I get it. Youve heard from others that their kid made it and you didnt get the phone call, so now it's time to blame the staff cause you didnt see it in writing.

Timbers web site
The timbers web site isn't up todate and they never answer the phone. Thought I would ask that's all. My kid made it last year, sure he will make it this year. Just wondering.
They are poor communicators. You learn that after a year of parents of asking eachother what is going on.Comment

Yes i am aware of the website; it was supposed to be posted by Friday, it has not - just curious if anyone had heard anything - that's all. And yes I have sent in an email to Eric which I have not heard a reply from yet.
Seemed like there was a lot of talk on here from people that were talking about the academy figured I would just ask and see what popped up - if you think that is stupid sorry to have ruined your day.
Also I haven't heard from anyone that their son has/has not made it yet - if I had I wouldn't have posted the question assuming that he did not make if we didn't receive anything - wouldn't blame anyone just because it wasn't in "writing", last year they posted on the website with a list of the names.Comment

If your kid was on it last year, why isnt you didnt ask other parents via email or text's if they had heard anything yet ?
Do you really think there are that many other parents with DS' that were on the team that post here ?
If in fact your son did make it last year, you are probably 1 of 3 that actually post here. You better off asking directly those parents of players that were in the same boat as you last year if they have heard anything.
