      yep

if you knew the coach you are probably going to get before you tried out, would you try out with that club. At least not knowing until that night gives you hope.

Can someone tell me the benefit of ossa joining crossfire? I honestly don't get it. Is there a benefit, really? At least w Alliance clubs there is a connection to Timbers and ODP. But what does ossa get w connection to crossfire?

Well, the Alliance clubs chose to partner with the top dog in the state in the Portland Timbers.

And, the LO, Southside, Clackamas, Willamette United, etc clubs chose to partner with a youth club team in...wait for it...Seattle!!

That just makes me laugh every time I think of it. They chose to partner with a club team in Seattle...really?

What's funny is that you are only focusing on your OSSA girls U15's and older. But really, the U18's and U17's die is already cast as they are mostly done. The U13's and below are significantly weaker than than the Alliance teams in those age groups and the U14's are average. The only way to make those younger future Crossfire Oregon "ECNL" teams strong is to draw players from outside the club. Not enough of those top players will move to play for a supposed ECNL team that can't even beat their local Alliance clubs regularly.

But, of course the LO parents will buy it hook line and sinker because of the higher income bracket. That is where the real joke lies. Those younger, future teams will overpay to get the same results or worse than what they can get just by staying home.

Oh, but think of the exposure...

So, enjoy the U16's and older for a couple of years and than welcome to the wastelands, suckers.

Since all the hype over the ECNL brings froth to most, Im sure there will be more then enough ample talent trying out for the Crossfire teams, thus diminishing the talent pool with the other clubs.

Dont kid yourself. There are enough peps doing ODP, Im sure those same players will flock towards the highest level of club play they can once it's available.

But PLEASE !!! Stay right where your at.
