I thought that this tournament was a *** tournament. Why are the mighty U14G awesome Reds playing in the select bracket of the Waterfront tournament in Salem? I mean it looks awesome beating a U15 select team 9-0.

Wtimbers played well....held majority of the possession...but Westside Timbers are very big and athletic and every kid is capable of hitting a 40 yd ball....
It was 0-0 with 11 minutes to go....Westside was bound to score with their style of play.

Not to defend the previous poster, but if someone is opening a thread about a tourney and people are posting in said thread, it's open game. If it's a pathetic tourney, live with it or look to make it better next year.

You have to admit it looks a lot like a timber alliance friendly.

Are you really that dumb? First, this is a Timbers Alliance hosted tournament. And second, have you not noticed that Timbers alliance teams are in abundance at all decent local tourneys. The only tourneys that might be better around here are Beaverton, Oswego, and Hood. And yes, you will see a plethora of Timbers Alliance teams there too... And alliance teams will win most of the ages at those too... If that sucks for you, we can't help it.

It's not supposed to be a big time tourney....there really aren't any big time tourney's here in PDX. Most of the tourney's are the same. Most clubs, like yours, doesn't even have a tournament to bitch about.
