Interesting that THUSC took their teams to West Regionals and FC PDX, BSC, EMFC, WST went up north to NW regionals.

Just a quick look at the schedules leads me to think they should have just saved some money and gone to Seattle. At least as good of competition, if not better. But should be a fun team trip with good competition. Good Luck.

Yikes....there are age groups of only 4 teams! Is that really a tournament? This tourney has lost some steam the past couple of years. That's too bad because when my DD we t through the tourney was stacked

Have always gone to CA, you will certainly see some top teams in CA

If by "always" you mean since 2012 then you are correct. I don't see any better competition in NorCal then up in Seattle.

When our DD played at LO they took teams to the Cal-North US Club Regional for 3 or so years in row. The teams might have been a little better but we definitely got to see some different teams.

Of course you don't, the whole argument about one tournament be more "competitive" than another is just marketing hoo hah. The real state champions will all be in Hawaii.

Not just THUSC, but Southside is heading to Davis. I like to see different teams than the same old same old. I am not certain that the competition is better in the North - at U14 there are 8 teams and not 6 teams. Not sure I would call Crossfire Reserves, Snohomish Soccer, and SEAFC soccer elites. Good luck to all!

This is the field for the u14 girls group. To say FWR's has lost it's luster is only a self serving argument, and seems to repeatedly based in the logic that "someone else is going, so it must not be as good as where I am going" looking at the competition there are some very strong teams. These are all teams that earned there spot, not just signed up.

I hope you enjoy the experience! The argument has been you are going because you signed up and then you call yourself a State Champion. The list you provided proves the point that the best teams aren't going anymore. Look at CA South Surf is sending their B team. Do you really think WA Rush is the best in WA?

With all the Portland Timbers Alliance moving back to OYSA and those that will follow, OYSA USYSA National State Cup will have meaning again.

US Club National Tournament was never more than a side show.

Good Luck to those going to Hawaii.
