Hey guys, stop bashing Eric. He's keeping a top Oregon Youth soccer program together that has helped get a lot of kids seen by college coaches.

That list is for the "sub-regional" camp, not for the Regionals in July. According to some, there are players who have already been selected for the July camp, but no one seems to know which players or when/where the list list will be out.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

Not my experience ....
MY DD was seen by many college coaches and did play ODP. She was seen by the same coaches, sometimes they were different coaches. But, the ODP was helpful in getting her athletic scholarship offers. Several players misled coaches by overstating their GPA's, ultimately that failed. Through this all EL ran the program as best he could. I feel certain, as does my daughter, that her club team was far better in organization and had better coaches. Eric did not provide the program leadership that should have been a given. His choices for everything from player rules to team managers were very poor. His pronouncements that he talks to coaches about players is quite laughable. No coach ever mentioned his name when she visited with them. Why would they call him? Nice man, thoroughly inadequate for the job position. He has very much helped ODP to be the mess it is today. That's not bashing, just my and my DD's opinions and truth as we see it.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
