The only people that should be concerned (if they are at all), are those that have made the cut. Regardless, at the first training session, they will see exactly who has been chosen and that's all that matters, not whos "Not There".
Unless you are that busy body with the small penis demanding that Erik posts the list.

You need to scan for threads with the word 'rec' or 'select' in the title. You should avoid topics like 'odp'. Then you can post with authority.
Let me remind you of what you said:

You CLEARLY said any soccer tryout. You are such a douche, you can't even argue correctly, so besides your shortcomings on your manhood, you are an idiot too.

And just FWIW, my kid has been a part of ODP and has made all of the teams that you mentioned. Of course that makes it nice for me as I KNOW who made it, since I see the list. Clearly, your kid has never made a pool, or you would know who is on the list. Maybe ODP isn't for you or your kid. You seem to have a big problem with how it is run, so save everyone and don't participate. And next club tryout, be sure to demand that the coach publicly post who made the team. Oh yeah, you will go over real well with him.

But hey, I will be nice and check the list to see if your kid's name just happens to be on it.......Nope, still not on it.

Don't know and don't care who is engaged in this pointless back and forth. If you stopped and looked at what the two or three of you have been writing and saying about each other and showed it to your kids they'd be mortified whether on the ODP roster or not.

My kid thought it was funny. He couldn't believe somebody was upset because the roster was not posted on the web.

So can someone clarify, girls can bypass regional camp and just go straight to hold over camp? None of the 96G for Oregon that I have heard. My DD said there were only 18 96s total at regional camp.

Yes, at 98/97/96 they can all do this. AND they did not have to go to Sacramento either. Oregon is not operating the same way as all of the other states. The new structure was designed so that more kids can be seen and reduce cost. In Sacramento teams were supposed to be blended as well, but Oregon did their own thing there as well.

Thank you because this has been confusing. My DD said why am I at regional camp if they have already selected holdover girls. So not all have been selected? Any idea how many 96g have been selected for holdovers before this camp even started?

No I do not sorry. There are alot of people in your boat that are confused. I heard there were selections from regional coaches too that Oregon didnt send at all. (Operative word is heard) Your DD may have had a better shot going directly to holdover if the Oregon ODP teams had been mixed with the other states in Sacramento.

More will be held over for camp so your DD has a shot, and it may be better now as she is an individual at camp.

Thank you this is very helpful. She wondered why so few 96s are there and the competition doesn't seem as high as expected.

Good god people, how stupid can you be.

ODP for a purpose or ODP for experience................................

                        1. If your kid isn't top 25% in the respective RTC, ODP, SUB REGIONAL, REGIONAL, REGIONAL HOLD OVER, NATIONAL then don't waste your money traveling to the next step.. That is a concrete number. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

                        or

                        2. If your kid isn't top 25%, know you are ONLY paying for the experience. LITERALLY..

DON'T WHINE. DON'T BLAME THE COACHES. Don't blame the timbers because you are too stupid to realize this. Don't blame your kid. Don't blame the evaluation process.

Stick to the above and things get clear really quick. Its when dumb parents dont realize that their kids are not ready yet or good enough yet and then they start complaining after their pipe dream failed.

Question....What if I don't know if my kid is a regional level player??????

Answer......Ask your coach. If they have knowledge or experience its an easy question to answer. If they don't and they have no clue, your kid is probably not good enough at that point anyway because bad coaches usually don't have diamonds in the rough.

What a jerk... Do not listen to this guy.

There is nothing wrong with aspiring for more and asking questions. I know of one particular incidence where a coach did not like a kid at all... Did not play him. A regional coach ask to see him and it was all over. Kid was hold over and beyond. Reality check is good but there is nothing wrong with a kid that wants to keep trying even if they fail.

yeah, but dont let the invite fool ya. Just cause one coach likes what they saw doesnt mean that the rest will.

we (our family) have taken from ODP all that we can. Where ever it leads you.

I agree. The other poster was just being a jerk. NOT every coach will love your kid, but there may be one. What I have learned from ODP is you HAVE to have someone in your court, pushing for your kid. It is important not to get too caught up in it. There are lots of kids that do not even play ODP and go on to have good D1 college careers.

                                That poster is a jerk!!

My kid is destined to become a National team player even though she can't kick the ball with her left foot at 13....

Everyone needs a dream I suppose.

Next we'll see you on here complaining that the coach didn't like her...
