Did you get an email inviting your kid? If not, then don't worry about it. Too many busy bodies around here who have to have their noses into everything. All you need to worry about is if your kid made it. If you didn't get an email, then he didn't make it. Go spend that money on something else.

It is the business of everyone that tried out, may not have made it; players on the team that aren't going; any player/parent that financially supports the program through fees; may make the program either more or less credible; gives other players someone to emulate; etc, etc. Are your embarrassed that your not very good kid made it?

The rosters need to be posted. Yes, I've seen the roster for my DS age group in an email. But it should be posted on the website like all other ODP tryout. Maybe I would just like to point his grandparents to the Portland timbers website because I'm proud. Or whatever. It's standard protocol.

Plus I want to see the other age groups. I wanted to congratulate some kids but not sure if they made it.

I don't know what the guys problem is who doesn't think it should be posted. Odd duck that guy.

Newsflash. Your kid sucks and didn't make it. If they were any good, you would have gotten the email with the names on it. Go suck up to someone who has a good player and maybe they will share the email with you so you can see who is going. In the mean time, go find the thread about good private trainers in the area and start contacting them on behalf of your kid.

Good for you dumbas$. The girls regional camp rosters ARE posted for the girls. So apparently the Timbers felt it was everyone's business to see the girls rosters. We are just asking that they post it for the boys too. Come on. Don't be an ***. The rosters should be posted like every other time in the history of any one of these teams.

You should go see your doctor right away and get some blood pressure medication. A vein is going to burst if you keep worrying about this. Face it, you son didn't make it. He sucks. If he didn't, you would know who is on the team. Don't worry so much about something that you are not a part of. Take the money from ODP and use it on some therapy for yourself. For those that made it, we know who is on the list. We've checked it twice and your kid isn't on the list. Tell him to play better next time.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe not all the players that made the cut accepted the invitation to camp because of $$$?!! And the reality is it's not a Timbers list to publish as was the case with RTC & State Teams. It's a Region IV list!

oh...and they probably list the girl's roster because daddy is probably a lot more willing to fork out the $$$ for his little princess!

The list doesn't seem to be a big deal for anyone other then you.

Just tell your son to nut up and work harder so he can make the team next year so Daddy does not have to call Erik ten times a day asking about the list.

My DS did make it and I think it should be posted as well. I don't think anyone is saying it is some enormously big deal. But most people would prefer to see the lists posted. It's silly to post the girls and not the boys. The bizarre thing is why are you even posting anything at all? You clearly don't care one way or the other if the list is up or not. The answer is you are an a-hole trying to cause problems for the sake of causing problems. That's ok. I deal with people like you routinely. You're everywhere.

It is not an enormously big deal to most people, but apparantly it is to you because I have read several of your idiotic posts. The funniest one was the one about that it is your business because you fund the ODP program. You also told someone to STFU.

I doubt your kid made the list or else you would not be so anxious about the list.

You should spend less time worrying about the list and working with you son on his game.

I am not angry or uptight as I respond to you. I can honestly say that I calmly pity you. No medication required. Every state pool player knows if they made it or not. The email is sent to all participants showing who made it. So if you can assume that my DS was in the state pool, you can also assume that I know who made it or not. I guess you really don't even understand the process enough to understand that. Which begs the question, why I am I wasting my time responding to a moron? I really can't answer that. I am ashamed of myself. :)
