OK whatever your point is, try to be an adult and lay off the kids. I am sure you could have made this statement many other ways without being insulting towards a player. Sorry, people get away with a lot on here being anonymous. The one thing that should be common sense is leave the kids out of it.

      Hello

The poster never brought up any kid into the discussion.
Sadly someone acting as their parent did.

That's what's is so remarkable with the posters here, they forget that they are posting about their OWN CHILDREN.

That kind of behavior does mandate a visit to a mental health professional, I agree.

No. I have the brains to look beyond wins and losses. I have the well being of my child that comes first. I never approach the coaches and stay positive around my son. I cannot stand there and see a coach berate the players and stay because they win. I want my son to have a role model, not a maniac who knows nothing about young athletes. SO, you now know the answer and the team he left was WST.

Having a hard time believing you since the coaches of the younger teams at WST who have been state champs do not fit the profile that you describe. I seriously doubt that your son played and started for a WST state champ team. Perhaps your son is much older now and no longer playing classic soccer?

I can think of a mom who was angry that her son had to switch spots with another new player ( who later went on to the MLS), and has trash-talked to coach and club ever since. She totally went pyscho-bud even though her son went on to play college soccer. Her son would be about 21 or 22 now. Notice how the poster has not responded since the challenges to her son's age group.
