    Well Then

Pretty interesting. The Timbers DA, ODP and Timbers Allience was nothing more than the same old crap coaches just the crap coaches got paid more.

I hope CrossFire will do a little more than suck. I am pretty confident they will.

Ok... I'll ask, so what? Better for all? Another gimmick? More money? What? Anyone have a clue?

Just like all the other clubs, re-branding is nice and fun, but they have to produce. OSSA is not anywhere near strong enough for ENCL and is showing that right now in the State CUP.

Cool! Now our team won't have to travel to Seattle to spank Crossfire teams. We can spank em right here in Oregon.

Yeah. Is that a new league? How about ECNL?

"Our" team. Are you a player? That would explain the immature post. If you're not a player remember these are kids. Teach yours to be a good sport.

Why do you think ECNL? Crossfire backs it up. I may be wrong, but didn't they only win 2 State title combined boys and girls. Having only 1 champion on the girls side will not get you an ECNL team

At least OSSA is doing something different. All the other clubs cave to the Timbers "pathway to the pros" OSSA/Crossfire will turn out more quality higher IQ college ready soccer players. 99% of these kids playing soccer are not going to be professional players. OSSA/Crossfire knows that and therefore the challenge is to get as many of their kids noticed by college coaches who recognize talent and brains.... Best combo for college scholarships!

                        Right

You are correct said thing is it took Crossfire to teach OSSA that. Problem is Crossfire is in Seattle and OSSA is still here just new uniforms

                          yepper

The Timbers Allience was just a money grabbing move by the clubs and uniform sales. OSSA in just a plea for help because they can't do it themselves.

Aren't you glad you pay them.

Somebody here said OSSA/LOSC/SSC staff make 100k. Why do they get paid so much if they have to join another organization to learn how to do things? Did they just get new uniforms? Now more? Does Nike subsidize the staff over priced salaries?

If so, then the poor current OSSA girls who will be relegated to the B team when the top players come over. Trust me, just saying you are ECNL doesn't make you good, a fact proven by OSSA's poor showing in State Cup. If OSSA does get an ECNL, then be prepared for top girls to come over and for the current girls to get relegated. Careful what you wish for because it may end up being the B team, basically right where you are today.
