Actually I believe this could be true. The red coach was the main one with a beef with her family. And it is total par for the course for her to play in a silver bracket tournament. Good preparation for Beaverton cup.

My dd's on another club's B-team. We played against Salem's B-team and Salem's old A-team star forward did indeed play with Salem's B team. She scored many goals and they won our division. Maybe she played with the A team also? Sounds like the Salem club is still fine with her.

Interesting because I was curious enough to go look at the schedule. The only team in their bracket that I think would identify itself as "B" team was from Eugene. Which made me think "a Eugene B team parent is on this chat board?" I call BS.

CFC 01 Red couldn't even beat Irish United this past weekend. Huge decline for CFC. Not surprised that "superstar" had to drop down to the CFC "B" team though. Performance has been declining rapidly over the last year. Couldn't score in ECNL, couldn't score in OYSA Premier. Maybe Thorns will play in OYSA Div 1 so she can poach a few goals against rec level defenders?

Three girls from Oregon made the 18 roster ODP regional team for their respective ages. A 99 CU player, an 02 CU player, and the 02 superstar who has team hopped from FC PDX ECNL to CFC to now Thorns Academy. Pretty good showing for Oregon I think.

I thought regional camp was next two weeks. How is this already known?

Eugene only beat them in PK's. Can't put too much weight on these tournaments. Lots of players out of town so movement between A and B teams happens. Happens every summer in these small local tourneys. Let's see what happens in Seattle.
