They are all weak when you take out the kids that were developed from other clubs but fell for the snake oil sales job by crazy parents and coaches who don't even know their players names.

At 2000, 2001 and 2002/2003 age group people are not taking the bait and FCP is on the downward spiral.

If FCP is in a downward spiral then the rest of the clubs in Oregon must have already been flushed down the drain.

It's hard to keep the girls motivated to continue developing when they've pulled so far ahead of all the other clubs they compete with. Fortunately they only have to put up with 3 years of that before they get to play really good teams in ECNL and leave the Timbers cavegirls behind for good.

2002 doing well. Over 50 girls at 2002 ecnl tryouts for both FcP & CU. 2001 ecnl numbers are down. Only 17 at CU 2001 and all made it. 2003 numbers better than 2001 but girls are still young yet so waiting another year or two.

ECNL becomes 2nd tier next year and lots of new clubs incoming. It will get a lot of new kids involved in the program and local teams won't have to travel as much because they will play other local encl teams. All positive changes.
