ECNL as an entity makes it possible. Some coaches aren't happy with it but it's OK to do. The Academy won't allow it. Pretty lame!!

Seattle U was the only club that applied from the NW. None of the rest can show that they have the structure in place, history of development and college placements, etc.

Not true. PACNW has done an amazing job with development and placing players in college. They currently have two girls on the USWNT U18 and USYNT U16. Abi Kim and Summer Yates.

PACNW trains out of Starfire where the Sounders train. They gave both the infrastructure and facilities to be the dark horse in this race.
