Refs also assume a girl going to goal in the box who is flagrantly fouled was not a impediment to a scoring opportunity because, let's face it, the girl probably wasn't good enough to score anyway.., That's the only reasoning I can see for the lack of calls on girls inside the box. Maddening.

Looks like quite a few cards have been posted this morning. Maybe the refs are paying attention. I agree that they let a lot more go in the girls game.

Would be wonderful. I looked up a few Premier age divisions from last year. Close to zero reds in a season for girls to about 25 for the boys at the age groups I looked at. That needs to change!! Unacceptable.

This is not true. Team managers are not to enter cards. If for refs only. See the league rules. Just think about it. Are team managers getting official game documents for cards?? No. Refs do and are responsible. The only responsibility team managers have is entering scores and making sure they manage their rosters such that cards can officially be linked to players in the Affinity system OYSA admins and refs manage everything else related to cards and game conduct.

Yes, the girls should be earning more cards and ejections.

Must be dumbed down in Oregon then. RCL has the managers enter the cards too.

Well she wasn't. Any innocent bystander could tell you that after three minutes watching her play. You need to spring for some skills lessons.

Well, in the sense that they tend to manage better teams than OYSA managers, yes.

At the end of the game the Ref files a game report with OYSA that includes any cards issued and an explanation, e.g. was it it a Red for a severe foul, two yellows, or preventing a clear goal scoring opportunity.

I know, but either was the boy.... Just asking for consistency.

The girls should have to follow the rules and be held accountable to the rules just the same as the boys.

I also hear that they provide sexual favors to the coach. RCL managers are the best!

It was found that the players didn't deserve the red card.
