I had thought this game was listed last night as 3-1 Thusc. 2-1 WT FC is a more interesting result.

So in a combined league who do you predict the top team will be now?

The one that wins the most games this fall. But then all the top girls will move to ECNL anyway. Last hurrah for the TA teams.

At the year older the top players did not migrate to the encl league. The two ECNL teams are good but mid pack compared to rest of Oregon. FC finished mid pack in OYSA and hasn't had much success.

A few players will come and a few will go. The huge obstacle is cost. The best players don't all have $700 per month for soccer.

If clubs can figure out how to cut the cost it will be better.

Many of the older encl teams are really struggling.

Tuff choices buy ecnl and thorns academy are pretty close in costs. Thorns don't have a great league to play on yet and as for now that is a distractor. The future should be interesting.

Might want to look at the rosters again. Most of the top players have now moved to the ECNL teams. WT_FC lost 2 to ECNL, ET lost 2, WUSC lost 6, LO lost 3, THUSC lost 5, BSC lost 2, etc. The movement is real.

Why would THUSC lose 5 when they are ECNL?

Thusc will still have a team, they won't all be ECNL.

No top player ever moves TO WT-FC. Ever.

Yes what they mean is that kids do move. It's not usually top players though. It's really the kids who can afford it. There are some B and C level players on ECNL teams.

Another issue is a lot of the top players come from Salem, Eugene, Bend and Corvallis and other non Portland areas and players don't want to drive all the extra of can't.

That's funny! At 01 Salem, Bend and Eugene have the top teams, and they are losing kids to ecnl

It's a good experience to travel a lot if you have the money. But don't think that it is the top players. There are many very good players but there are just as many that don't play in the elite club league.
