"We" also ensure that we leave in time so "we" don't get to our destination at 10pm. When they hit 16 or so, the "we" becomes less important as they know what is expected, although there is a lot of "we" still involved in planning and logistics, even if all of "we" don't go. Now do you understand what an idiot you really are? "We" sure do.
Yes, bed by 8. No you can not hang out with your teammates, no there is no swim time! We came here to win. I know you are only 11 but we paid money to be here. Where are your priorities?

But wait, you told us all that youth soccer girls lose when they are away. You told us that home field advantage is big in youth girls soccer.

I've heard most people say that most kids teams are highly susceptible to travel factoring in to their play. It seems like an easy explanation here.
OMG, one of the dumbest statements I've ever seen. You shouldn't believe everything you hear. I guess based upon that, we will just do local tournaments and if we ever have to travel, we will just forfeit the game since it's a foregone conclusion our team will lose. Yeah, that makes sense.

Yes they had a very good first weekend of NWCL, the 2nd weekend they went 1-1-1 which against the seattle teams is still a solid weekend. In the Semi's they lost 1-0 to Crossfire, in a game that should have been a tie. They were all good games, and that was over a stretch of many months.

In state cup they struggled, but that also had to do with the fact that all year they had played 11 a side while Seattle teams played 9 a side. Then they had to now play on smaller goals/fields/players against teams who had done that all year. Its a different game and it showed. By the time they started to adjust the cup was already over for them.

Now can we all move on and focus on next year now. The players who were unhappy left the team and the players who are happy stayed with the team. Pointless to dwell on last year, tryouts are over lets look to the future.
Did WT_FC adequately prepare the kids to play 9v9? If not, why? There were tournaments aplenty that could have tuned up the kids. Not that we are going to change anything at this point, except to possibly prevent a repeat with another group of kids.

One tournament, like the PacNW Winter Classic, would have been enough to figure out the 9v9 stuff. Of course, they didn't bother. Heck, the coach couldn't even bother to show up to practices half the time...

Seriously!! Because they moved him to the U13 boys team. Why would they keep him around if he never shows up?

Because Beaverton sounds like Beaver Town. I think it's time for that bolt in your neck to get a good tightening.
