Portland Timbers had a coach that was a good player evidently.............look how that worked out. Needless to say we bought season tickets after we found out he was gone.

Her parents are already living up to their reputations saying they are going to wipe the floor with OPL premier this year. Can't wait to see them in action this year.........I also look forward to watching the game too!

Yeah...I do. It's a 2 time wps defensive player of the year, us women's national player, 2 time pac10 player of the year , & university of Washington hall of fame inductee. Google her...there's more. :)

No doubt she is an amazing player.

Questions are:

1) Can she coach

2) Is she mature enough to deal with the parent group

3) Is there a conflict of interest in coaching her daughter.

It will be interesting to see what will happen to the OPL premier this year.

Lake O got some new players
THUSC losts players
Eugene got new players
FCSC has an entire team now without guests
Bridlemile got better

This will shape up to a great fall season!

1) Can she coach

Judging by what she did last year against my DD's team. Doubtful and a disgrace of an example set to all players of that game. Who knows other than this forum which has brought to light a few shockers. Word is, she can sell snow to an eskimo but doesn't know what to do when they buy it.

2) Is she mature enough to deal with the parent group

We only know one player who went there this year and that parent isn't someone we like to associate with. Some of the "Valencia' families if they ended up going there are said to be real dusies too.

3) Is there a conflict of interest in coaching her daughter.

Who doesn't? Its her kid for heaven's sake. Who wouldn't?

Your so transparent and pathetic!! I just did the same google search, fourth page had something about sc and pacific merger talks, but thats it. It's so obvious you're the same person spreading this propaganda. Just because you figured out how to use your computer, doesn't mean you're sane or rational. You want everyone to believe the hype,but all the crazy posts are from people outside of sc.
There are plenty of coaches who have 10+ years of experience that can't coach for ****.go ahead and discredit the fact that she has been coached by top level coaches for the last 15 years. There is a very valid reason they give the B liscence to ex pros, and getting your A is no cake walk, which she did. Over the last two years my DD has improved exponentially from her sessions with Tina. We look forward to this next season and watching our teams improvement . Nemesis love haters!

good player = good coach? where in the world did you come up with that? My DD's math teacher is amazingly smart but she can't for the life of her teach kids and she's been taught how to evidently, probably by a teacher who was the same thing as she was.

I don't care if you have a doctorate, if you cheat and blame it on ignorance, you are either stupid or a liar. If you cheat on that, what else would you cheat on?

Could you imagine if NWCL didn't need teams and FC didn't call her out on it. They would be in it and LO would be out. Not to mention the collateral damage of the kids across the field watching the game while random kids were taking their place.

No wonder you have threads of recruiting, kid biting, guest player abuse, crazy parents.

Whoever is in charge better straighten things out real quick.
