What matters, for all teams in the premier division, is that the new roster have a minimum of 10 returning players from this years' "STATE CUP ROSTER", which can be very different than the team's previous fall or spring league roster.
Salmon Creek could not double roster players on multiple teams competing in separate state cups. Any play-ups and/or play-downs had to be listed on one state cup team only.
Easy to determine compliance, just compare one set of names to another.

Oops...looks like the roster consistency rule will keep the "Greenies" team in D1. The "Greenies" will be challenged to move up to the middle of the fall OPL D1 GU-14 league this year given the quality of their upgrades and current coaching (my preseason assessment).

Only 4 state cup players remain on that team. When you consider fall roster, there are only 2.

Pretty funny how all of the movement between and in/out of clubs in Vancouver could keep all of them out of OPL Premier and NWCL this year... :)

Valencia vacates the Timbers in mass potentially placing the WT Green team in Division 1.
FCSC then welcomes the whole team aboard and violates the roster consistency rule themselves in the process.
Is this fun, or what?

what remains to be seen...will all of the "B" team players stay with salmon creek through the fall OPL season. if so, then it seems salmon creek will have met the OPL consistency rule and will use the 26 players on a roster to keep their in premier league spot. So in summary, the Nemesis 99s picked up 8-9 former WSA 99 valencia players, 4-6 ***C 99 red starters and kept 4-5 core "A" team players on basically what is now basically an all-star team.
Wow...that would explain why ***C Reds 99s are now starting to practice 3 times/week. Game on indeed.

~~~~ breaking news ~~~~
You can all stop arguing about the rules, unless your talking about USYSA/OYSA team policies. There wont be any more of those OPL "Which ever way the wind blows towards us" rules any longer.
Even if the OPL takes over running all the competitive leagues in Oregon, they will still have to abide by the governance of USYSA and if they want to try and change them, they will have to pass mustard in Frisco Texas first.
This might be easy at the lower level rankings, but the premier level team formation and transfers are pretty strict.
Nemesis will be good though. It'll be awesome watching the Oregon parents go ballistic when they're looking up at them in the standings all year!
Bragging you got some reds bench players? Wow seems like you are really into that team for a select club.
Salmon creek parents also taking how they are now better than fc Portland and They are going to be top of the league.
Should anyone be surprised. Judging by the talk of the parents that went there I can only imagine the sideline.
Tina better pull the reigns on her nutcase minions before they run into Fcp or the Reds. By all means, keep talking it makes this so much more enjoyable.
