Ok losers of the Fab 4 Freshman let me know when either of your smart great kids get into any Ivy League schools.
When your done with high school and lift the trophy are you going to celebrate being 8th place ECNL at Surf? Club is about 10 months and your little HS BS is 2.5 months.
What are you guys going to do to celebrate?

Fantastic education for real students not soccer players who take Alegbra 1

Do any of you question how or why? Because they are allowed to do this. In most private prep school environments they prep schools compete against other prep schools. Not in a league of only public HS.

How do we petition OSAA to finally make a change to this? Or are we really ok with the idea that people like Ryan Johnson and Fennah and the others will continue to manipulate the governing body for their own gain at the expense of all other athletes.

Callan Harrington smashed the goal scoring record at Jesuit….not hard to do when 8 starters on that team were D1 players and some all Americans. By the way all hand picked recruited from Crossfire Premier and Thorns DA. I know this for a fact.

Stop the BS and call/write as much as you can to OSAA and file complaints. Make them answer to this. It’s not about winning, it’s about a level playing field. They can play Central Catholic, St Mary’s, Caitlin Gabel, OES, Valley Catholic. See how long they can keep the recruits coming in when they don’t play the public schools or compete in 6A

its’s the only way this stops. Write and call, non stop until they answers
Honestly I think they have OSAA in their back pockets with all the fundraisers and the money brought in by RJ with spots sold.
This organization I have no trust in knowing full well the domination.
Whats sad is if they did it the right way more of these student athletes will be getting into top notch Academic and Sports institutions. If they were to play with other private schools in other States with dominant programs these kids would be sitting in a much better position

The colleges know they recruit and their competition is trash. Really they are doing a disservice because of their ego and greed.

This all about Steve Fennah’s ego. Nothing to do about the girls. If they only played private schools the allure of a dominant program would fade and kids/parents would stop going there over other schools, at least for the sole purpose of playing soccer.

My guess is the Vice Principal in charge of athletics will care very much if anyone with actual receipts of abuse is willing to come forward.

Biggest Shut-Out of the season happened today. As my daughter’s club announced 15 college commits on national NLI day. And multiple commits announced by nearly every club that has an elite program in OR except RJs club. ORSurf = big ZERO commits announced today. Why? RJ’s head not in the game of his day job as leader of the recruitable ages at Surf.

RJ got shut out today where it really matters and more importantly and sadly so did the players and paying parents.

Your daughters club is a bit a joke to be fair and let’s not forget they let him scream at kids for years before they found out he was trying to leave. This is not the first person they allowed to do this in their past. Says a lot for a club that aligns with the thorns who were investigated by Sally yates and found multiple inappropriate relationships with players, trainers giving out drugs, etc. just because they recruit doesn’t mean they are better. Also it’s interesting to see that among your kids teams commits you have a lot of kids that are going to less competitive soccer schools than other clubs. A couple of good ones but majority same ol same ol.

You talk trash about RJ says a lot when your club was the main reason he is still coaching. Check yourself.

Let’s just stick to facts RJ:
7 total players signed with Surf: 2 for Montana, Weber State, Point Loma, Gonzaga and San Luis Obispo, Point Loma, Santa Clara and Point Loma never heard of it

Montana the new Miami and Weber in Utah definitely my next vacation

Starting salary for NWSL is $37,856 really? How in the world are you supposed to survive?

Ok RJ fan boy and fellow freshman parent at Jesuit every club has weirdos. I’m sure the Surf coaches and staff are just marvelous and do it for the kids well being. They are so great they would coach for free.

Your great club on your website only had 7 for now. Considering your a national club with an ECNL license I would like to see a mini
of 50. You’re supposed to have ECNL team starting at age 6 lol. I’m sure money was not a factor.

Didnt RJ get fired from Thorns for recruiting or did someone make that up?

Why would a massively successful, nationally recognized high school coach cede control of his program to anyone let alone to a relative no-one?
                          I cannot square this circle.
Yes, RJ is a club coach. So what? Do we all honestly believe that he has the ear of Jesuit’s head coach? Why would SF listen to him? Because his daughter is a good soccer player?
Every single dad in the stands daughter (or in some cases daughters) are good soccer players. RJ is one of many. His daughter is one of many.
I’m not saying the whole bloody system isn’t totally screwed up.
It probably IS totally screwed up. I’m just saying that RJ is likely not as powerful as folks believe he is.

That’s funny. I don’t even think that is true if you compile all of the surf affiliates nationwide. Unless they signed on to work in food and beverage or in ticket sales.

Nationally recognized known to recruit and win at all costs?
A fat ego driven self centered SF Coach hell ya.
Please stop defending RJ the biggest egotistical person in Portland who has ruined the lives of many girls because of his obsession to make his daughter and her friends the best.

When money is involved and he is the agent for spots on the team hell ya.

This is not about soccer this is about corruption, cronyism, deceit, bribery, intimidation basically a third world program being run at a high school institution.

Do the right thing get rid of all the coaches men’s and women’s put in an independent Head Coach out of State for tryouts and games.

Create a western conference private high school league and pre season Oregon option. Recruit all you want and the kids get exposed to actual competitive talent instead of an All Star team playing garbage and mercy rule everyone by the first half.
the kids will get the opportunity to play against the best in the region and get exposure to other great colleges like UCLA, Stanford etc,
