    OYSA Letter regarding Referee Abuse

I heard that there was an incident where OPFC parents were yelling profanities at the kids and refs a while back. Terrible that is has come to this.

If was one parent in particular at OPFC. If you read the letter that was posted, there is way more going on that the one OPFC parent. And that parent was out of line and the club has spoken with him.

But if you look at the list of abuses in document forwarded by OYSA, there is sooooo much more than that incident. But congrats on getting to drag one particular club and infer that the actions by one parent incrimate everyone associated with that club. Well done. Good use of time.

Nice vetting process and oversight by GasLight FC (aka OPFC) lol.

Maybe OYSA should do a better job training the refs. Have you seen the quality of refereeing? The kids don’t even know the rules, safety becomes an issue

We yell at ref, ref quits. New ref needs training!

Stupid ref just needs to learn that my kid has never fouled everyone, and all other clubs are filled with ineligible goons who should be sent off before the match starts!

Why don’t you suit up since you seem to know the rules.

Yup. agree. But probably not fit enough to do anything other than stand near center line and try to stay out of the way--so this likely not helpful either.

One good thing about Covid, no parents on the sidelines of soccer games

100% true. They are an inept organization that lacks leadership. Something needs to be done.

Why get involved. Youth soccer is multi million dollar business. Do your F'n jobs,

Exactly so do your job as a sideline fan and shut your ****ing mouth. You expect EPL level referees with video assistance too. Go **** yourself. You seem like one of those parents who will yell and scream on the sidelines who calls for offsides on a throw in.
