I am very sad for the parent that started this thread. Truly, this is concerning. It is very hard for me to understand how a parent could have so much animosity towards a group of young girls. It is troubling to read the hate and anger expressed by some parents that target the Onyx team. To whomever started this thread; please reevaluate why you drive your daughter to practice everyday and continue to write those checks to your club. Please reevaluate the relationship you have with your daughter and ask yourself if your attitude is not negatively affecting your daughter's soccer experience. The funny thing about this thread is that it really reminds me of the Onyx dad who stands around and mumbles as he watches the game and then looks at any parent, including parents on the opposing team, and asks you why some player on Onyx played the ball outside, or inside, or back, or....
For anyone who has played against that team, or remotely knows the parents on this team, you all know who I am talking about. The first time it happened to me, I looked at him and wondered why he was talking to me and why would I care if their mid-fielder played the ball outside. Then I realized it was "normal" behavior with him. A bunch of posts about someone talking to the little voices in their head is spot on for this guy. Oh I am sure he is a regular on this site, so there is no doubt he will see this post.Comment

I knew you would be on the board, trying to defend yourself. Sorry, but the rest of the league knows who you are as do many of the parents a year up. Keep mumbling to yourself during the games, talk to parents on the other team, ask them why your team keeps doing certain things.
