Oregon club 'c' teams can travel up north and spend thousands on lodging and food to play teams that resemble the PCU, CPSC, Mt.Hood Challenge and Tigard Festival of the baloons 'b' brackets.

Great opportunity for the oregon b and c teams to bond in the emerald city.

All the higher end, non elites OR/WA are scrimmaging at PAC NW July – NW Summer Showcase July 12 - July 14 for JC and small college looks.

This SURF INC re brand of the 60 acres XF event has nothing to do with the decades old Summer SURF Cup held at the polo grounds in Del Mar.

The name change form XF Challenge to Surf Cup NW, is a lucrative $$ deal for the esteemed XF club, but who could of predicted the instant drop-off of quality teams with a simple name change?

Funny that Oregon Surf ECNL is not going to the Surf Cup NW. My kid’s team is going to the NW Summer Showcase.

Funny that the best of the west division in Surf Cup is mainly just RL and some GA teams.

As far as the NW Summer Showcase, I appreciate there is opportunity to play a few decent teams this summer in one spot fairly close to home before kids head off to high school. And this showcase is relatively cheap to go to—playing 3 ECNL teams and don’t have to pay much more than gas, food and lodging. The cost/benefit is good.

Finally, I glad not to be giving more money to Surf.
