    Ossa u11-u18?

Saw on the U14 thread someone mentioned rumors that OSSA was going to be moving all the way to U11's. I had heard this rumor as well, anyone know if this is true? Heard they were going to formalize age groups all the way to U11's or were going to form tournament teams like they did with the U14's all the way to U11's.

What "tournament teams" are you referring to?

They just set up a U14 team that went to Las Vegas. The clubs may either move OSSA to U11 or may make up tournament teams from U11 to U14 from teams within the organizations clubs

Looking to do Vegas in spring, Mustang in late summer then possibly a tournament in Winter such as Disney. Again, all rumors at this point but from what I understand they are trying to get their top players from the 5 or so clubs together and train/play with one another during the year. Sounds like a good idea

The only reason for them to go to U11 would be to make the club bigger in hopes of landing approval to be a DA club. Timbers had to do it with their "Timbers Alliance". Clubs all over the country are consolidating as well. The airs of change.

Consolidation is a good idea given the limited resources we have. I'm sure it would be nice for a club here to actually have a complex complete with their own fields like other clubs around the country.
