Not 130 teams…16 and those 16 don’t include everyone that actually is on the team that year. Most teams have players that left already or didn’t travel. Hence 2 subs…

I still think United pdx oregon beats them 3/5x. ecnl isn’t as cracked up as people say it is. You got kids going to all colleges from all teams. Including thorns, United pdx, etc from d1 - cc. All have players that would make anyone else’s teams.

this is common knowledge. You can be at soccer chance and go d1 and still be as bad a player going d3 or cC at the thorns.

At least on the boys' side we have MLS Next, and some of the MLS academies are very good. (Not ours unfortunately).

But nothing on the girls' side but pay-to-play travel rackets as far as the eye can see.

LOL. OMG..you can't be serious. UPDX?! Love the Eastside superiority complex. Sure, they would totally do great against SD Surf. Get real.

Thorns are the best in the state. That is a fact. UPDX are just a OYSA team dreaming.

What? Go lie up a different tree. Thorns Academy is no more known for injuries than any other club. If anything, they take injuries seriously and the academy is teamed up with Providence doctors and they require notes to return to play. The U19 girls that were sitting out are headed to college and 3/3 of the injuries were treated with an abundance of caution given impending college play.

I thought the updx delusional plastic fans were only on the boys side but holy ish. You all are ridiculous on the girls too.

What a horrible group assembled by nothing but the worst of the Oregon soccer world .

Wish the Thorns 06 actually accepted the invite to play Columbia Premiers 06s. That would have been a great game.

They did in a round about way, if you know anything. The Thorns WPSL and Columbia WPSL semi-pro teams are full of the graduating D1 2006s. Thorns won by multiple goals.

Columbia did not have have most their 06s on that team. That was hardly a representation of their youth club.

CPSC 06s easily beat the Thorns 07s. Would have been a fun game. Tracey avoids potential losses as much as she can. No clue how the game would have ended up. Would have been fun to see two strong Oregon teams play.

Boy it would have been a good game, BUTTT Columba Premier girls are not part of the best league in the land, soooooooooo, they did play. Give an chance in the WPSL they didn't show.
