Does anyone know that there are 348 D1 teams in the NCAA Division 1?? Check RPI Rankings here
https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/soccer...ens-soccer-rpi
Portland 124 - 64th percentile
Oregon 131 - 62nd percentile
Oregon State 198 - 43rd percentile
Portland State 293 - 16th percentile
So 2/4 Oregon teams are currently above 500 in NCCA Division 1.
While this isn’t awesome, it surely isn’t so ridiculously negative like prior posters have suggested. Facts are easy to find. Unsubstantiated opinions posted here just make all you posters look either a) lazy b) stupidly unknowledgable c) purposely spreading crap

1. UO didn’t win a game last year and allegations of rampant abuse.
2. Oregon state lost ANOTHER coach dude to inappropriate relationships and still managed to be second to last in conference last year.
3. UP is a shell of what it used to be. No one even likes the coaching staff and they consistently are mediocre for $$$
4. PSU? Lol
Give me a break. You keep enjoying your crap sandwiches wrapped in gift wrap. maybe you are a parent or coach that let your kids be abused by specific coaches here in Oregon while hoping you sold it all to get to OSU….
You were lost to begin with.
Oregon d1 soccer is an absolute joke.

D1 in our state has been a trap the past decade.
Ignore the idiot that thinks winning 2 games 1/8th of the way through the season means something.
Its a transfer schools through and through. People get in. People try to get out. Mix in abuse and inappropriate relationships sprinkled with bottom of conference finishes?
Sounds like a real goal for my kid!

RESPONDING TO YOUR SENTIMENTS…
1. UO did not win a game last year and allegations of rampant abuse.
I QUOTED RPI FOR THIS YEAR. ARE WE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS SEASON? THEY ARE DOING REMARKABLY BETTER.
2. Oregon state lost another coach to inappropriate relationships and still managed to be second to last in conference last year.
NOT A GREAT PROGRAM PER THEIR RPI THIS YEAR VS THE ASPIRATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS PROGRAM. HOPEFULLY THEY HIRE WELL FOR NEXT SEASON.
3. UP is a shell of what it used to be. No one even likes the coaching staff and they consistently are mediocre for $$$. SOME PLAYERS LIKE THE PROGRAM AND SOME DO NOT. THAT SEEMS LIKE A NORMAL D1 PROGRAM TO ME AND THEY ARE PERFORMING IN THE TOP HALF OF D1.
4. PSU? Lol.
THEY ARE NOT ELITE BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THE PLAYERS THERE ARE BY AND LARGE LIKING THE PROGRAM AND HAPPY. RPI IS LOW BUT HAPPINESS IS HIGH. EVERY PROGRAM DOES NOT HAVE TO PROMOTE THE SAME POSITIVES.
Give me a break. You keep enjoying your crap sandwiches wrapped in gift wrap. maybe you are a parent or coach that let your kids be abused by specific coaches here in Oregon while hoping you sold it all to get to OSU.
YES I AM A PARENT AND MY KID WANTED TO EXPERIENCE A NEW PART OF THE COUNTRY. HOWEVER, THEY HAVE SEVERAL HAPPY FORMER TEAMMATES PLAYING IN STATE.
You were lost to begin with.
MY COMPASS WORKS JUST FINE. YOU HAVE YOUR OPINIONS, I HAVE MINE.
Oregon d1 soccer is an absolute joke.
2 TEAMS ARE IN THE TOP HALF OF ALL D1 TEAMS. 1 TEAM IS HAPPY AT THE LEVEL THEY ARE AT WITH HOPES FOR MORE. THE ONLY TEAM THAT SEEMS PERHAPS OUT OF SORTS IS OSU DUE TO COACHING TRANSITION. GENERALIZATIONS ARE NOT APPLICABLE HERE.

- UO goes from being mediocre to dog crap. Coach being investigated and players leaning.
- OSU Players turned on a sub par coach who couldn’t lead a team nevermind being second to bottom.
- PSU lol. Who goes there anymore.
- UP sinking ship and not even close to what they used to be.
10 years of club soccer total $100,000
U of O sucks and the coach decided to get new players and your kid wasn't one of them
OSU didn't want your kid
PSU wasn't the D1 you wanted
UP would take you
So for your 100K you ended up in the NAIA or just stoped playing

OSU fired their coach at a bad time for recruiting, and lost a key recruit late. Current coach (Caroline Kelly) is an interim hire, so until a new head coach is named (whether Kelly or someone else), recruiting is going to be a crapshoot in Corvallis.

1. how long did it take? How many last place season they had prior to this crap season?
2. how many complaints sent to Ad
3. how many kids got screwed because head coach doesn’t know what he’s doing.
4. how do figure they’ve figured it out? A couple of wins?
You sound like someone that sacrificed everything to put your kid in front of a joke that’s been failing year after year.
