Rumor has it that the 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes were so strong and so bought in to Sinacola's philosophy that the current juniors and seniors would not get playing time, so the current team mutinied. That and the current team did not like being coached in a very direct manner.

While Sinacola is openly gay, her wife was part of her staff, and I've heard of no allegations of anything like that--she just didn't get along with the players AFAICT.

It’s just football at 85% of schools. Everything else is a cost of doing business. Most of the power 4 schools will soon be going broke also.

Since D3 doesn't have scholarships, that might be true, though D3 schools are only making gate revenue and concessions, so I'd be surprised if it pays for the coaching staff.
