I agree. I wish there was a true national playoff system that started regionally. If you look up the scores of the best 50 teams in the country, they all lose or beat each other and they all lose or beat teams from other alphabet leagues.

why would anyone from oregon look up the scores of the top 50 club teams? Since we don't have have a single club team in the top 200, outside of the local mls next youth squads.

once the usys was fractured 17 yrs ago the chance for a true natty vanished. The usys held on to the concept of regionals and nationals about a decade too long, it's now a complete joke and 6 feet under ground.

I just counted 12 OR boys teams in the top 200 from ages 05/06 to 2012. 6 of those teams are actually in the top 100 in the nation, all based on the soccer rankings app.
