Thorns have had 4 coaches in the last 4 years that were reported abusive and they did nothing.

NWE literally picked up some of said abusive coaches and trying to pretend no one notices.
...and parents do nothing about it! Yourr parents who put up with the BS so you can brag to uneducated friends about your daughter being in the Thorns Academyy are a disgrace. All soccer people (and you) know it is not an academy to the Thorns. You have no care for your child's welfare.

Sounds like a parent with a kid that gets stomped on by the Thorns.

I would love to see Chelsea move to the thorns academy! College and international playing experience, check! I saw her coaching the 2009 ODP team. My daughter is a 2010. Dang good coach who has high expectations, clear feedback to players but brings joy and creativity to the game.

Agree as well, saw her conducting some 2009 trainings, she is excellent. Will be a great addition for some club. Sad that the leadership at CPSC has no vision and is stuck.

She is abusive towards the girls she coaches. There is a reason why is can’t coach winning teams and it has little to do with the talent on her teams. Her teams shut down. She is an awful person who is riding on her resume to get jobs. She only lasts about 2 years in each position that she has had post college. But if you like her, she has a Facebook fan page devoted to herself, feel free to send her a message. CPSC absolutely did the right thing letting her go.

Is this even true? The club has made no announcement that I can see.

Who is going to report on their club page, hey we fired a bad coach?!? Are you serious! She’s no longer with CPSC. Stories will go around but there is a reason she’s not with them anymore!

Generally, clubs do NOT post announcements to the general public that "we sacked Coach X, and here's why". Even if X was indeed sacked, and for good reasons, this is generally considered an internal HR matter that it's not appropriate to draw public attention to. Those that need to know will be told.

The exception is for things like where Coach X is caught with kiddy-porn or something else like that which involves the police, and the club needs to publicly throw the coach under the bus pronto. But for most reasons a coach gets the sack, it's an internal HR issue, not something to scream from the roof.
