Interesting...will they announce those rosters before fall? If they are fielding full separate rosters of 15 and 16 year olds rather than combining for one U17 squad...that will have an affect on rosters for both the top clubs and high schools

Yes the rosters will be made sooner rather than later.High school and BM texts are most certainly going to be affected.

Let me get this straight, Kalif is coaching the Surf 2013B, 2010B, 2009G ECNL, and is DOC. How is it possible to be an ECNL coach with all the travel and coach 2 other age groups that compete in a different league?

He won’t be coaching the 2009G ECNL team. That was a recruiting gimmick.

lol if you were with the Timbers you’d know there’s no U17 team this upcoming season( switched to u18. So there’s definitely no U15 team
                  if you say there is

One of these teams was lied to. It will be interesting to see which one, but parents will have already paid so they will be stuck with whatever bait and switch they pull.

Why would a boys DOC be coaching a girls team? That seems to be the obvious bait and switch.

He was a place holder so that Ryan Johnson could decide which year he wanted to coach his daughter on.

Unfortunately OPFC, WSM and CFC are just not strong enough to compete. They play at too low of a level and play in a very soft OYSA.
He can't coach them if they do move. It's an OYSA rule.

Oregon Surf still don't have coaches for some of their teams. How stupid are parents for signing up at tryouts when you don't have a coach.
