Go on iD2 website. There is a form you can bring to your coach and ask them to fill out. It will then be up to the coach to decide if your child is ready for that level competition.

For anyone who thinks these invites are strictly on skill you have been smoking too much ganja!

Yes the kids have skill but their parents, coach's and clubs all have to work the political angle. There are several kids left out at each age EVERY year because they don't want to play the "game" or don't realize that there is a game going on!

Until the tryouts work more like an NFL predraft camp politico's and reputation will be AS important as skill.

I know 6 of the 7 chosen and they are ALL extremely hard working kids.

What do you mean by not "playing the game"?

Simple fix no club DOC's or Coaches. End of story.

What should happen is that the DOCs and Coaches should nominate and the DOCs and Coaches vote on the players with no DOC or Coach being allowed to vote for their own player. This is similar to how HS does all league teams. That wouldn't remove all of the politics but would help to make it a little more objective.

It's not about hard work, it's about capability and potential.

Yes, these kids have that too. Apparently the scout saw something in them.
