It is ridiculous! What happened to club identity?

In our division, 7 of the 12 teams all dressed alike. My daughter hates it!

Anyone know how much the clubs pay the Timbers? Curious of what the benefit is.

Still curious. What are the benefits to the Timbers clubs for joining the alliance? My kid's club was asked to join and declined. What do the players or the clubs get for signing over their identities to the Timbers? Anyone from RVSC or Bend have an answer?

There are major advantages to being a Timbers club.

1. GW has written an all inclusive book on how to coach. It covers both the tech and tatical parts of the game.

2. Every few months a member of the MLS conducts a coaching clinic for club coaches.

3. The fitness coach send out detailed training for the players

4. If you believe any of this call me I have ocean front property for sale in Denver

Basically Timbers just want to own soccer, problem is no one can own soccer the game owns you. The business model will fail.

I heard all of the Timber clubs are getting a group coaching session by a member of the MLS staff to get them ready for state cup.

It's not too bad:

VTimbers pay $961 to play in the Alliance on the "A" team

Select Teams paid $250 to be a part of the Alliance.

Every other club charges more than VT. Not sure why VT keeps their fees so low. They could offer better coaching, better fields, etc. if they'd simply increase the fees a few hundred dollars.

And to not make use of the fact that they are the only club in the area that can place teams in the RCL is a big marketing mistake. Put your best teams in the best league if you want to attract the best players.
