Why is OSSA playing in the third division? Seems like they should be in the 2nd division.

And the Copa team is the Copa T/S, correct? They will have their work cut out for them. All teams in that top diviosion are very strong.

I think just based on the history of both teams. Both are equal and should have been placed in the Gold bracket.

I think Copa has a fairly easy schedule. On the schedule it shows Copa plays Beach FC Black and not Carlsbad. Beach FC Black is not a top team at all and is a B team. They finished 7th in their Fall League. Santa Clara Sporting is also not a top Cali team but they are decent. They didn't make it out of group play at Mustang and did not fair well at US Club Regionals in Modesto. Surf White is a top team and will be good competition if it is their ECNL team going. Not sure if it will be or not since Surf ECNL has an ECNL game on Saturday in California.

I'd say Copa should win 2 out of 3 games which will put them in the consolation round.

Copa's draw is very difficult, which is good. You go to these tournaments to play top teams. If they are not playing difficult teams (which they are), then they might win their pool and advance to semis. By the way, you must not have ever been to this tournament as everyone makes it to the consolation round unless they win their bracket, which puts you in the semi finals for your pool. A quick check of the schedule would have told you that. Funny, you spend hours to go through and research all of these other teams, but don't even look at the tournament schedule.

I didn't read any hate in the post. In fact it seemed to give Copa some props by saying the should win 2 out of 3 games. You can't go by the Gotsoccer rankings. Take Santa Clara for example. They got most of their points off from placing 3rd in the fall league. The ECNL teams in NorCal didn't do the fall league so that takes away most of the top teams like Mustang and DeAnza. Right now Santa Clara is ranked higher then Mustang ECNL when Mustang is by far the better team.

I would say that he is on some pretty good drugs. Funny, he seems to think he knows everything about California teams, yet doesn't understand how something as simple as a consolation round.
