Why Honolulu? Who can afford to travel? Wouldn't it be simpler to subsidize the Hawaiian teams' trips and play in Boise or somewhere else cheaper?

Every 4 years it’s in Hawaii. Idaho does suck but at least the trip is affordable compared to Hawaii. I’m sure most will opt out then it’s really not worth it. Planning a last minute trip to Hawaii no thanks!!Comment

Boise is a fairly open, welcoming and diverse city. I wouldn't hold any national event anywhere near Coeur d'Alene, however--northern Idaho is chock full of fairly overt and explicit racists, many of them who moved there explicitly because it is overwhelmingly white, and they're not afraid to let their freak flags fly.Originally posted by Guest View Post
