With the addition of Westside and OPFC, GA PAC NW is now basically an OYSA recreation league.
Still better than your kids team losing games 0-6.

Sorry you are feeling threatened by the GA taking over.

If GA wants to be a serious league they need to kick out Bridge City and probably Capitol too. Bridge City apparently just didn’t field a U19 team but has political connections so gets a seat at the table for no reason.

BC can’t even hang in OYSA lol!

Adding Westside & OPFC is a joke too. GA just wants to take the $$ and people are stupid enough to drink the koolaid!

Taking over? yah..... 4 of the best GA clubs are moving next season from the GA to the ECNL. Any ECNL clubs moving to the GA?

Has nothing to do with anything. Just like you comparing your crap ECNL team from Oregon to teams from the GA teams that would destroy your kids team 10-0. There are more than you can count so…

you idiots like taking credit for association when in all reality the local GA teams are going to suck the last remaining talent out of your little elite pretending team.

Nationally this has an effect but not for the PNW. Very few PNW teams are near the level of those teams leaving for ECNL. I’d hazard to say that none of the PNW teams even want in ECNL; they are happy to compete in GA knowing that it’s a more appropriate level of competition. GA, even if they won’t admit it, is very happy to be a B league to ECNL. It’s still sending plenty of kids on to play in college and their events and games are well attended by scouts. Honestly in a lot of the younger brackets it looks like the Spokane teams are the most competitive but I doubt ECNL would take them since they are kind of in the middle of nowhere.

Agree, GA is below ECNL. GA and ECRL is comparable.

ECNL in the NW is better competition than GA NW Conference.

According to ECNL, their RL program is not better than the GA. There is no attention or focus put into promoting ECNL RL players into college. Its 2-3 weekend league with optional travel to an event that has less colleges attending than the alliance showcase. That is the way it was intended.

GA might not have a NW Conference as strong as ECNL, but it is still one of the best exposure platforms for college and YNT. Their events have almost the same college attendance as ECNL events.

Fact - ECNL and GA are the best proven pathways for girls college exposure/opportinities
Fact - ECNL conference is better than the GA NW conference.
Fact - ECNL RL is a glorified B team league that has no purpose for a club that is not participating in the actual ECNL.
Fact - college commitments can come from OYSA teams. Just takes more work.

True. Fact: crappy players come from all of these leagues. Some are paying more than others but most definitely there are players in every league better than others.

Agree. Why anyone would pay extra to have their kid on an RL team is beyond me, unless you are there for the coach.
