I literally cannot believe you would actually write something like that about a 13 year old whom you have never seen play or behave. This is so wrong on so many levels.

I am inquiring because if a club is willing to let something like that go on, then I want no part of it. I was trying to assertain if there is any truth to what I had heard. I never said it was true and feel as though I have hit a nerve. You must know the rumor or personally know the family. Also, the comment was more geared toward the adult and not the kid… it go ahead and create a narrative that works for you.

If your intention was for the post to criticize her dad then you failed because other than him leaving, everything you wrote was about her. Say what you want about the coach/ dad of a player but leave the 13 yr old out of this ! And it doesn’t matter if you said it was true or not - this place thrives on rumors and they spread like fire. this is not a place to find the truth.

Its a fair question. If a parent chooses to coach a team with the child on it, they openly invite comments about the culture of the team. Sorry

Perfect alignment it appears with the their historical cosching ethos and club culture at THuSC/Crossfire Oregon/NwE/0Surf.

With the exception being they secured a talented soccer player, which is a rsrity, but it comes at price :).

It sounds like the problem here is the parent and not the player. Why would a Coach leave (fired) the top team in the Northwest and ninth ranked team in the Country with six games left in the season and a shot at going deep in the national playoffs? With next year's coaching assignments coming out in the next couple weeks was daddy told that he was going to have to step aside next year? He just ruined the best season that his daughter is likely to ever have. Great job Dad!

Surf will have come in, sold the board on their BS and the first hire is a Dad who only wants to coach his daughter. Here is a message for you Thusc/NWE parents. Your club is ran poorly. You can change the name to Real Madrid if you want. You will still be terrible at developing people and players. Leave while you have time to learn about player development.
