I watched the OPFC vs Saints 2010 final. I felt bad for OPFC. They were a much better team last year under coach Kellen.

There are certain aspects of the Latino game that I like I.e. the physicality, aggression but unfortunately it stops there.

They tend to be very sloppy with their 1st touch, very slow to pass the ball and dribble too much. They are just missing fundamentals.

This was a very depleted Saints team that barely squeaked by in the quarter and semi’s. They lost most their talent to the ECNL.

Both goals were easily avoidable.

I think next year will be a different story. Look for a WSM, CFC, United or even Kalif’s new super team at “Surf/former Saints” to win it all.

Sorry OPFC. you will need a different strategy.

Curious as to how a coach can keep pushing the limits of recruiting and stealing a whole team from his club (in addition to plucking a couple from 2-3 other clubs) and there are no repercussions. At that point it’s not about the kids anymore, it’s about this guy’s ego and I think this is where someone with oversight should draw the line. Robbing 3-4 clubs of marquee players - including 10-14 from his previous outfit - is ******* TOO many people off in my opinion. That’s also a lot of $$ reg fees you’re taking from other clubs.
