Both clubs need to disappear, and new Beaverton club that includes the entire area needs to emerge for competitive soccer. Neither Cony or Tom should run it.

Each club has 4 or 5 outstanding coaches, 2-4 more good quality coaches, and another 2-3 decent coaches. They pool their resources, you're looking at a strong Boys and Girls program that would be intimidating to any program in the NW.

In the meantime, they both are each others worst enemies and continue to hurt themselves and the kids at the same time.

You should do a little research before making stupid statements like this. There is a large number of coaches who have been at THUSC for years. The coach who is leaving is moving and has nothing to do with Tom.

I just looked at the THUSC coach page again. I think I counted 10 (3 more that I'm unsure of) that have worked at THUSC for 5 years (at the very very most) or less. I can think of 9 coaches that have left in the past 3 years. That's a high turnover. Doesn't matter the 6 TA faithful, every leader has their close.

I think the opposite is the downfall of WST. They hold onto their coaches too long and don't have many new coaches constantly coming in (until this year apparently - we'll see).

If Thusc would have gotten ECNL, all of those Thusc parents would have had to find new clubs for their DDs as the premier talent from other clubs would have converged and taken their spots. Either that or they could have stayed and played on the B team. Best thing that never happened for many of the Thusc parents is that they didn't get ECNL.

Kick them out and have ONE program comeback. Stronger than the 2 divided. The 2 will never merge.

SS is leaving. They are merging with LO.

Bridlemile is trying to find creative ways to build and run their club and extend their boudaries, ie. Newberg and Hood River (Lame copy cat try).
