Irresponsible is an understatement… it was 100 degrees this afternoon.

The only OYSA apologists are OYSA employees themselves. Simply out of touch with youth soccer. Recycled and long tenured employees.

It was the most organized I have seen ODP in the last 4 years. it was great to see the work by the OYSA team. The real test will be picking better teams. When many ages struggled in regionals because coaches picked kids from their club they knew over actually evaluating players. I am hoping results are at the same level or better and we have a win getting out of the thumb of Timbers/thorns.

My daughter was out there the afternoon session on Sunday. There were plenty of water breaks. Plenty of subbing. Session was shortened to 90 minutes. My daughter said it was fine and she felt good at the end. I have zero issues with the way it was run.

It wasn’t unbearably hot but OYSA probably could’ve postponed it especially since there’s no ODP action until Dec. Now, local trainer Kalif, on the other hand, has been running his $300 a pop camps under the radar for the past 3 days…100-degree weather…
