In reading through these threads it seems like Onyx is unbeatable and the end all to training, exposure and college recruitment to the exclusion of ALL other offerings. I am not sure how they do it but perhaps they should bottle it and sell it to others.

There was and is.

This thread is just rude. These are just 13/14 year old girls playing soccer and trying to be the best they can be. Their parents and community are proud of them. I'm an outsider to all of this, but it appears to me that someone's bitter and focusing too much on slamming a team and supporters of teenage girls who are just passionate about soccer and their team. I guess in order to understand the silliness of it all you need to browse through the Is ODP worth it and ECNL is it worth it threads to get a feel for the irony. At least in this thread with the exception of those who are insulted by it there is no one bashing children. I don't think anyone will argue that Oyxn is not a good team but come on ..... better than ODP better than ECNL better than anything that has ever happened prior and at the surprisingly young age of 13 or 14. Agree that chances would be really good if up against 99 ODP team. Unfortunately for all teams things change significantly between U14 and U16. In all likelihood Oyxn will still have a great team. However the parent that is taunting others with the ' you got kicked off' or aren't good enough may have a rude awakening in the not so far future.Comment
